Bring her everywhere
Characters you own can also keep you company in your browser and in VS Code. Extensions have no AI chat and do not use a device slot.
Chrome, Edge and Brave
Unzip the file. Open the extensions page in your browser, turn on Developer mode, choose Load unpacked, and select the folder. Store listings are coming soon.
VS Code
In VS Code, open the Extensions view, choose Install from VSIX, and pick the file. Then run Lokashaka: Sign In from the Command Palette.
After installing
- Open Lokashaka, then sign in or continue with the free trial.
- Get the AI brain once (about 1.1 GB). The Windows installer can download it for you; otherwise use the Download button in the app. Without it, characters can still react but cannot chat.
- Turn characters on or off from the library. Right-click a character to talk, change outfits or open settings.

The AI runs with llama.cpp (MIT license) and is built on Google's Gemma model, used under the Gemma Terms of Use. The full list of open-source components is in the app's About menu.
